in Google searches and social media platforms, engaging targeted audiences and positioning
you and your company as the local expert in your niche. If you have a business you are passionate
about, a product or service that you know will make a real difference in peoples lives,
whether your business is B to B or B to C, there are people online searching for your
skill set and your solutions and they want to hear you in video. With the right videos, the right distribution
platforms and the right strategies, your going to have the tools to sell and market online

will r-e-a-l-l-y give you the results you're looking for, for your time, money and effort.
It's true that with all of the advancements
in technology, video production is easier than ever, but there are a lot of moving parts
that need to come together to get it right. If you plan on tackling it yourself in an
attempt to save money, you can end up wasting a lot of time and money. Let's face it, video equipment and software
is expensive and it takes a lot of knowledge and practice to master it all. You also have to have the right strategies
to deliver and promote your videos. Without a lot of careful planning and hard
work it can be extremely challenging to pull it all together. Now, If you've never produced a video for
your business, maybe your feeling a bit overwhelmed by the task and don't know where to begin.
Or, if you have created some videos in the
past, but weren't happy with how they turned out or the traffic they generated, you're
probably feeling resistant to jump back in. I get it, there is a lot to video marketing,
but don't worry, because I'm going to share with you the information you need to know
to create successful online marketing videos for your business quickly, easily and affordably
using Gain Crowd Media service. But before we get into all of that, in this
first video, We're also going to talk about what YouTuber's
learned early on by experimenting with their channels, and what you can take from their
example and apply to your video marketing strategies that will help you create engagement
with your audience and attract loyal followers to your business.
I'm also going to outline the 6 pillars of
a strategic video marketing campaign that will help clarify your objectives. In video #2, I'm going to talk about some
of the most common mistakes that many businesses make in their video marketing campaigns and
how to avoid them and I'll outline the specific structure your videos should follow to ensure
effective engagement and conversion of your audience.
I'll explain the framework you'll need to
distribute your videos and how to ensure your videos are found by your target market. And In Video #3 We'll pull it all together
the simple solutions from Gain Crowd Media so you can enjoy easy video production, including
script development, capturing solutions that will save you tons of time and headaches,
the branding assets you'll need that will make you look like a pro and drive viewers
down your sales funnels, and finally how to achieve distribution that will get you noticed. After watching these three videos, you'll
understand the steps to a successful video marketing campaign and how to achieve it effortlessly. You know, there are some major changes that
are directing online marketing that are happening right now. Huge shifts in directions that some of the
biggest online influencers are making, like Google, Facebook and Youtube, that will effect
your online marketing success, and I'll be addressing these is some of my blog posts,
but the important point I want you to grasp here is, that it's really important for you
to up your online game now before these changes happen.
Whether you sell products, information or
services, you're an online business or brick and mortar business, if you want to capture
online traffic, engage and convert an audience into new and loyal customers using the internet,
then video NEEDS to be a part of your online marketing campaign, because EVERYTHING is
shifting to the importance of including video on your website, your social media platforms
and your online advertising. This is true if your target market is on Facebook,
Twitter, Snapchat or Google. Video is the fastest growing segment of online
marketing and advertising.
Despite all the evidence of the power and
importance of video marketing for your business, very few companies are actually currently
producing video and even fewer are producing it using good strategies. By getting involved with video marketing now,
you will have a huge advantage over your competitors that wait because video builds momentum over
time and online engagement is cumulative. Your online reputation is built over time
and the sooner you get started the better. So to recap, in these videos I'm going to
share with you how you can create videos quickly, easily and affordably that will engage audiences
and move them down your sales funnels. I'll share with you the frame work for your
video marketing content and the exact structure your videos should follow in order to quickly
capture and engage your viewing audience and how to keep them watching your videos by giving
them exactly what they came for.
Now you've probably heard about companies
who have made videos that have gone viral and companies that have made millions of dollars
off of just one video, Dollar shave club, Poop Pourie, the Squatty Potty to name a few,
and I am here to tell you that yes one of the exciting aspects to video is that it has
the ability, unlike any other form of advertise, to go viral, but these videos are few and
far between and your videos are probably NOT going to get millions of views. The good news is, your videos don't need a
ton of views to be a very effective part of your online marketing strategy.
What I am going to share with you is how you
can make a few videos that can help you get found more easily in local online searches,
that will drive traffic to your website and engage your audience so they stay on your
website longer, giving you more opportunity to get them to know, like and trust you and
allow you to move them down your sales funnel.
And if you are willing to commit to making
videos on a regular basis, you can build online authority for your channel and position yourself
as an expert in your niche, making your online marketing more powerful and more profitable
than ever before. Because here are the facts, people who leverage
online marketing by including video in their campaigns, enjoy the benefit of more traffic,
more leads, shorter sales funnels and higher profits. Unlike print, radio or tv advertising that
is gone with the next issue or the next time slot, video can live permanently on this amazing
free platform called YouTube, which has become the #2 search engine in the world. And video builds momentum over time. The more views and engagement your videos
get the stronger their online position becomes. That's because these days, Google search algorithms
are all about engagement. Google and YouTube are search engines that
are committed to providing the best user experience on their platforms so they strive to deliver
the very best content for any search query.
The way Google decides what the best content
is, is based on the information you provide them, then testing the engagement of the content
they deliver. For example, If you tell Google that your
video is about "the best dental implants" and Google serves up your video when someone
uses that search query but viewers quickly click away from your video, Google assumes
that your video is not the right content that people are interested in for this search. Now it could be because your viewers didn't
get the information they were looking for or it could just be that your video wasn't
engaging and people weren't willing to stick around long enough to find out if and when
you were going to deliver the content they came for.
Either way, over time, your video won't get
ranked. Google ranks content based how long people
are staying on your content and how much they are engaging with it. Are they watching your videos to the end? Are they leaving comments? Are they sharing your content? Are they asking questions? All of this activity will help your videos
and your websites rank better in online searches. Especially in your local market. And for most companies, local traffic is what
matters most. Now were not doing all of this just to impress
Google so that we can get ranked, what we really want, is to attract real people, but
the two go hand in hand, because this is exactly what Google wants as well. Real people, real engagement, real customers
because that's what drives businesses. So there are a lot of pieces to the video
marketing puzzle that effect whether your videos will be found online and if they will
be engaging or not. And frankly, the complexity of video marketing
is what keeps a lot of small business away from attempting it. One of the most important things I can offer
you is this.
The knowledge I've gained from all my years
of creating videos, studying success stories and learning from other video marketing experts,
I can pass along to you, so you can skip directly to the most effective strategies and create
the right kind of videos, with the right quality and structure that can help you achieve your
online marketing goals. The time and effort I spent, means you don't
have to spend your time and energy trying to figure this stuff out. Let's face it. If you are like most business owners, you
don't have the time, because you already spend a ton of time each week on your business. And as important as video marketing is to
your future online marketing success, the idea of devoting countless hours trying to
figure out video marketing, is not the best use of your time. You have a business to run and your time is
best spent operating your business, serving you clients and enjoying the success that
you have built. But this video marketing piece is extremely
important, because we all need a consistent source of new traffic and sales into our business
in order for our business to grow.
And video can help generate online traffic
24/7. Once video is in place and done properly,
it can build momentum and provide a consistent source of ongoing leads. Before we go any further, let's tackle another
concern people have about video marketing. "Even with the right strategies, creating
video is too expensive." The mission of Gain Crowd Media is to provide
video marketing solutions that are fast, easy, effective AND affordable so that more businesses
can participate in the benefits of this powerful medium. And this is exactly what we've done. We've developed systemized production packages
that can be tailored to your needs, and your budget to produce video content when you need
it or as an ongoing part of your online marketing strategy.
Solutions that allow you to get in and out
of production in record time and walk away with content that can then be easily edited,
uploaded and optimized for online searches so your videos can start working for you with
very little effort on your part. Now this doesn't mean that when you work with
us and follow our strategies that your videos are going to look like every body else's videos. They will be unique, because the focus of
how we create videos is through sharing your personality and your passion for what you
do, AND sharing your unique business value proposition with your audience.
Because you and your business are unique,
it's this focus that will make your video content unique. To produce great videos, you don't need to
be a professional copy writer. You don't need to own expensive camera equipment,
lighting and microphones and learn how to operate it all. You don't need to know how to edit video or
use fancy software to create good looking text graphics and impressive logo animation
to look professional.
You don't need to know how to do Google keyword
searches or learn how to optimize your videos for traffic, but you do need to include all
of this in your production in order to be successful, so it makes sense to work with
a company that has all these systems in place, to help you capture the right kind of content
and transform it into videos that will work for your business. Now you might be wondering how I got involved
with all of this. I've been an entrepreneur my entire career
and traffic has always been a huge part of the success of my businesses, but I often
paid dearly for that traffic, like paying incredibly high rents to be in high profile,
high traffic malls. When YouTube offered this free platform for
video distribution, I, like many business owners, got very excited about the opportunity
to use video to share content about ideas, products, services and causes I was passionate
about. But engaging viewers on Youtube proved to
be a very different advertising model than the traditional models we business owners
where used to in the past.
You couldn't sell on Youtube in the same way
you did in tv and print advertising because viewing was voluntary on Youtube. If a viewer thought they were just being sold,
they simply clicked away and didn't watch your video. The rules were very different on YouTube and
a lot of businesses got discouraged quickly and left the platform. But YouTubers stayed. and they were the ones that figured out how
to connect and engage an audience, and for their efforts they were rewarded with millions
of views and massive subscription bases on Youtube. So how can a 15 year old YouTuber get a 100,000
hits or more on a video she uploaded a week ago when most large companies with much larger
budgets are getting only handfuls? The biggest reason is, most companies don't
understand the process and the formulas to creating good content for YouTube. They don't know how to engage audiences, how
to ask questions in their videos to get responses, and they don't understand the fundamentals
of collaborating with other Youtube channels to build audiences.
But you are taking the first steps to understanding
by watching this video, because I'm going to share with you what they learned, and how
you can apply these same successful strategies to your business marketing videos. So here's what YouTubers learned. #1 People don't want to be sold, they want
to be engaged. They want answers to their questions, solutions
for their problems and advice from people they trust. They want to hear how you had a similar problem
as they are having and how you solved it. They want your story that they can relate
to and they want your expertise. #2 Viewers want real connections. At least as real as people can get operating
in a virtual space. They want to know, like and trust you. How did YouTubers achieve this? By speaking directly into the camera from
the heart. Being natural and letting their true personality
shine. By inviting you into their own personal space. Most YouTubers filmed in their videos in their
bedrooms, living rooms, home offices, kitchens and backyards.
By sharing their personality space with their
viewers they are showing their viewers that they trust them to let them in, even if it's
just a little. By being real and not covering up all of their
mistakes. Not always following a perfectly rehearsed
script. Allowing for spontaneity and letting their
true personality shine through in their content. By personally responding to comments people
make on their videos. By asking their viewers what they liked, didn't
like and tailoring their content according to their responses. The 3rd thing YouTubers learned is that it
is important to guide their audience. Tell them right away what your video is going
to be about so they know that if they stay they will get what they are after. Tell them what they can expect on your channel. Your mission, the type of content you plan
on delivering and what makes it worth watching. Tell them how they can keep the conversation
going by giving them clear direction on the best ways to continue to engage with you.
Whether that is subscribing to your YouTube
channel, sharing their comments, subscribing to your blog, following you on other social
media platforms or visiting your website. The 4th thing they learned is that consistency
in content is huge! YouTube channels that have a narrow focus
with the type of content they produce are much more successful at building a loyal following
over a channel that is making videos on any subject that interest them. Narrow your focus and highlight your expertise
so veiwers have a very clear idea of what they are going to get by being a subscriber
to your channel. Uploading on a regular basis. YouTubers learned that they could build anticipation
by providing content on a schedule. They literally trained their audience to anticipate
a new video on the same day and at the same time each week, month or day. Now this, for some people who are just getting
going with video marketing can be difficult to achieve, but the important part here is
consistency and realizing that if you want to have an ongoing video marketing campaign
that continues to engage audiences, you need to keep producing content on a regular basis
to keep that audience engaged.
Now, based on your budget and your commitment
level, this may not be the strategy for your business and it doesn't have to be for your
video marketing efforts to be effective. You may just want to produce the key videos
you need, optimize them for online search so you show up in local searches and leave
it at that. And for many businesses that is enough and
it will give you a huge competitive edge over all your competitors who have not produced
any video.
However, if you are willing to commit to video
on a regular basis, you can position yourself as an expert in your niche and this can be
a very valuable strategy. Now… To finish up this video, I'm going to share
with you the 6 pillars to more effectively creating engaging video content that will
not only help you reach your exact target market but will help them to know, like and
trust you as the authority in your niche. As we have already discussed, when your audience
knows, likes and trusts you, they want to do business with you and refer you to others. This exact framework has helped thousands
of businesses and online brands build massive online engagement and six figure incomes. So Here they are… PILLAR #ONE: TARGET MARKET CLARITY
You must be crystal clear on who your target market is so you can speak directly to them
in places they hang out. So Who is your exact target market? What age and gender are they? Where do they live and work? What are their most powerful interests and
who are their most powerful influencers? Define this and you will be one step closer
to creating engaging content.
PILLAR TWO: IDENTIFY THEIR PAIN POINTS
Know your target market and identify the biggest pain points they have. What are their biggest challenges that face
them every day? Don't just touch the surface on this one,
dig deep into the challenges your audience face and how solving their problems can transform
their life in some way. PILLAR THREE: TELL YOUR STORY
In your own words, share with your audience your difficult journey and how you finally
found success. Describe your story with enough detail and
emotion that your audience can really relate to your struggles. PILLAR FOUR: BE THE SOLUTION
What problem does your product or service solve for your target market? Provide a simple solution that your audience
can relate to and understand quickly and easily. Your audience should feel that they can't
live without your solution. PILLAR FIVE: BE AN ONGOING RESOURCE
By being an ongoing resource and providing answers to your target markets most pertinent
questions relating to your niche, you will become the online authority in your niche
and the go to expert for your audience.
PILLAR SIX: CLEARLY COMMUNICATE DIRECTION
Lead your audience exactly where you want them to go to drive them further down your
sales funnel. Get them involved by asking them to take action
steps that will further engage them in your online brand. Ask them to like, share and comment on your
video content but more importantly get them to become part of your community by becoming
a member of your inner circle. So to recap, the six pillars of video marketing
are… #ONE: Have crystal clear TARGET MARKET CLARITY PILLAR TWO: IDENTIFY your target market's
PAIN POINTS THREE: TELL YOUR STORY and make it personal PILLAR FOUR: BE THE SOLUTION FIVE: BE AN ONGOING RESOURCE for your audience
so you become the GO-TO expert in your nice and PILLAR # SIX: CLEARLY COMMUNICATE DIRECTION
to your viewers to help drive them down your sales funnel.
Include these six pillar strategies into your
online video marketing and you will be well under way to a successful video marketing
campaign. Now, I want to leave you with this. As a society we go online to connect with
others, share and gain valuable information that can help us with our businesses and our
lives. We share articles, ideas and information and
most of all videos because they're entertaining and watching videos is a great way to learn. We follow the influencers that are providing
this valuable content and the businesses that we feel most emotionally connected to. These are the businesses we are loyal to with
our hard earned cash and nothing creates more of an emotional connection than video. So, if we want to be influencers, than we
need to be creating video content and sharing it on our websites, Youtube Channels, Facebook,
Twitter, LinkedIn and the platforms where our target market is hanging out.
But most importantly, we need to be creating
video content for the top three websites in the world, Google, Facebook and Youtube. These websites are all about content, engagement
and connection and are the driving force of online marketing. Video marketing is the most effective form
of online marketing currently available and companies that get in now, will have a huge
advantage of companies that wait. Video drives online searches, video helps
create engagement with your potential customers, getting them to know, like and trust you before
they've ever even met you in person, creating the first step to a synergistic working relationship. Video helps move viewers down your sales funnel. In the next video we're going to get into
more detail. I'm going to talk about some of the most common
mistakes that many businesses make in their video marketing campaigns and how to avoid
them, and I'll outline the specific structure your videos should follow to ensure effective
engagement and conversion of your audience. I'll explain the framework you'll need to
distribute your videos and how to ensure your videos are found by your target market. This has been Melissa Ladaire for Gain Crowd
Media.
Thank you for watching and
I'll see you in my next video..
